Fantastically comfy large beds, very quiet for being in central madrid, very kind and helpful staff - allowed for late chek out, close to all the highlights. Loved staying here. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall an excellent stay! Would recommend.

The location was excellent and the suite itself was very nice. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Sol and about 12 minutes to Plaza Major. Our host, James, was extremely helpful. He sent us a huge detailed list of the best restaurants in Madrid, based on the type of food you were looking for. He recommendations for paella and tapas were top notch.

The carpets in the rooms kind of grossed me out, not to say they weren’t cleaned, it’s just that guests have been walking on them with shoes over the years and they were quite stained. The plants on our terrace could have been cut back a bit, you got hit by them when walking by.

Amor de Dios 17 delivers - location, comfort and hospitality!

THIS property exceeded our expectations - not only is the location in the heart of Madrid, the accommodations were very comfortable and spacious - it is more like an apartment. The lobby is welcoming and the host made himself very available to us throughout our stay. In fact, he asked us about our plans and provided valuable insights to make our Madrid trip even better! The in room Nespresso and kitchenette helped make each morning start off easily! We feel so lucky to have stayed at Amor de Dios 17 - and hope to return in the future! Gracias James!

We suggest reviewing the slope of the shower floor, and improve the water flow to the drain versus water flowing under the glass shower door into the vanity area. Not a big deal for us - but could function better....

We were so happy for choosing this place. Our stay was beyond our expectations.

Was absolutely perfect. Most of all, the location couldn’t be better! Right in the heart of all the main streets. A 10 minute walk to the Gran Via. The apartment was big and really beautiful. It has 2 balconies and a lot of sunlight. We had everything we needed to feel perfectly comfortable.

There wasn’t a single thing we had a problem with.

Really great apartment with lovely host. Would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was on the ground floor looking into the internal part of the building (which was great because it keeps the heat out). We were met by James at the building who gave us the keys and information about the apartment and the surrounding area. The apartment was clean, larger than expected with great facilities. The air-conditioning was amazing and there was a TV in the room with Netflix. The apartment was very clean and the shower was amazing. The location was easy to access central areas such as Sol and sights like the Prado museum.

We bought some cereal and milk for breakfast, however there were no bowls in the kitchen! We ate our cereal out of the tea cups instead haha. Apart from that, no problems!

Lovely beautifully decorated suite, perfect for couples,

The place is charming and delightfully decorated. James is a wonderful attentive host, he’s thoughtful and charming. We were immediately greeted by him upon early arrival and he was the kindest, letting us check into the room early to clean ourselves up a little before heading out to explore Madrid. The room was beautifully decorated, bed was incredibly comfortable. Attention to detail on every single thing. Even fresh bottle of water placed inside the fridge to cool down from the Madrid. Location is incredible, it was a great stay.

Perfect location, comfy beds and very helpful staff

Perfect location, close to everything at walking distance. It was a great flat for a family like us (with 2 small kids): very well furnished and equipped with all the amenities needed, super comfy beds and pillows, extremely clean (the bath towels were spotless and smelled good!). Staff is very friendly and helpful (including the nice and smiling cleaning ladies who come every day). It is not a hotel with a 24/7 reception, but the owners will proactively contact you to prepare your arrival the day before. It was very easy to contact them anytime via Whatsapp and they were very responsive to any question I had. There is a possibility to store your luggage the last day after check-out. They organized the taxi for us to the airport (reliable taxi driver who came right on time, despite our very early flight). Everything was perfect!

Not an issue for us, but beware that there is no breakfast included. However there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby and the staff recommended us a nice place to have breakfast or brunch. Besides, there was a bad smell at the entrance and staircase (water drain), but fortunately there was no issue in our flat itself (suite with balcony on the 2nd floor). So again, not an issue at all for our stay.

Great Boutique Hotel!

This boutique hotel met, and in some cases even exceeded, our expectations! Great location close to eveything yet very quiet. The room was lovely with two bedrooms...a king bed in one and two twins in the other...all very comfortable. Each room had its own wonderful rain-style shower. The a/c worked great too. And James, the concierge, met us when we arrived and made sure everything met our expectations.

Great value, Great location, super decor, and super comfy. Worth it!

We loved staying here, and we loved Madrid. The host who attended to us was responsive and helpful. Gave us really great advice, what to see, restaurants, etc. There was a bit of a mixup with our breakfast, but they corrected quickly. Check in was a breeze. We arrived very late, but no issue whatsoever. The suite itself is charming - great styling. No the bathroom isn't huge, but had no issues with it (this is typical in Europe, so I'm surprised people complain!). Tons of hot water. Lovely shower. Bed was super comfy - lots of storage. LOVED the Nespresso every morning. VERY conveniently located. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
